Kastel Stari. Monday, July 5
the shade of a centuries-old linden tree, a few stalls of local producers occupy the market square of Kastel Stari .
In almost every village in the former Yugoslavia is likely to meet small markets where the small local producers sell their products every morning, a practice that survived the years of Tito's regime when the small trade of goods of family businesses, if not encouraged, was at least tolerated.
On the counter of the fish, in the alley from the market square towards the sea, the night's catch and some eggs that land and sea meet in effort to survive another day.
