The disused railways seem to be an object of passion: just type these two words to find out how many sites do you deal with it.
We discover a section of railway in Urbino Fano-day stop on our trip. E '2 July, Friday. The ship that will take us from Ancona to Split start until Sunday morning.
We are guests of friends in Urbino and decide to walk to reach Fermoy. We walk along the tracks in this where Via Red Road crosses the tracks : from a different point of view, the green signal indicates the keeper's cottage in the photo at the link above. If this is the starting point and the station Fermignano the point of arrival, a few hundred yards ahead of us began the Sogesta Gallery, one kilometer in length.
We follow quite easily the gallery trying to rest your feet on the wooden ties, but above all thanks to the flashlights of which we had provided, and proceed without which it would be very dangerous. Not encounter bats, and even corpses abandoned by the mafia ... Only at the back we have been informed that a meeting can not always pleasant and would be the one with the porcupine!
